LAUNCH CONTROL EQUIPMENT BUILDING NOTE: THE CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL REAGENT FILTER IS ON THE LEFT. THE CONTROL AIR COMPRESSOR AND DIESEL FUEL DAY TANK CAN BE SEEN IN FRONT OF THE DIESEL ENCLOSURE. POWER CONTROL CENTER #2 IS DIRECTLY IN BACK. THE BLAST VALVE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT IS AT THE RIGHT REAR AND THE AIR CONDITIONER IS ON THE RIGHT. A SHOCK ISOLATOR CAN BE SEEN ON THE RIGHT
STANDING AT THE REAR OF THE LAUNCH CONTROL EQUIPMENT BUILDING LOOKING TOWARDS THE LAUNCH CONTROL CENTER NOTE: THE GREEN THERMOS AND COOLER IN THE KITCHENETTE OF THE LAUNCH CONTROL CENTER AND THE RED SMUDGE IN THE DISTANCE. THAT'S A NOTEBOOK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MISSILE COMBAT CREW COMMANDERS CONSOLE, WHICH IS NEARLY 120 FEET AWAY FROM THIS VIEWPOINT.

LOOKING AFT FROM THE HIGH FREQUENCY RADIO RACK IS LOCATED NOTE: SNORKEL PARKA AND SQUADRON SCARF HANGING FROM THE AIR CONDITIONER. THE YELLOW PIPE ABOVE THE BLAST DOOR IS A CONDUIT FOR WIRING COMING DOWN THE ELEVATOR SHAFT AND LEADING INTO THE THEN ELECTRICAL SURGE ARRESTOR ROOM. FOR SOME REASON THE LINES WERE LEFT OUT OF THE ORIGINAL WIRING AND THIS MAKESHIFT CONDUIT WAS NECESSARY.
